Welcome
:
Brisbane
is a vibrant city in itself, but the experiences and surprises do
not end at the city borders. Brisbane is the centre of a dynamic and
exciting tourist region. In the north are the Glasshouse Mountains
and lush valleys of the Caboolture Shire, along with the beautiful
beaches of the Sunshine Coast and Bribie Island . To the east is Moreton
Bay, the islands and the bayside districts; and to the west are the
fruit and vegetable fields of Gatton along with quaint towns and villages
of the early pioneers. The celebrated Gold Coast is within easy reach
south of the city, as are the farming plains of Beaudesert and the
mountain ridges of the MacPherson Ranges and Lamington National Park
.
